Duke

Duke was found living in a landfill in a Mexican border town where he lived with a couple of other homeless dogs. One day an American who was traveling through saw a car hit and drag him. The woman rushed in, took him to an animal hospital where they were able to stabilize him. Who knew that being hit by that car was what ultimately saved his life.

Duke has an autoimmune condition affecting his eyes and requires daily medication for the rest of his life.

He is serious and silly all in one. He is my number one ranch hand and loves watching over and protecting all of us. He finds great joy in chasing coyotes off the property and going on trail rides, but I think his most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to snuggle...

If you would like to help care for Duke, you can make a donation or a monthly sponsorship. All the proceeds go towards the food and care of the animals.
