Daisy Mae

Meet Daisy Mae. After seeing a desperate plea on Facebook about a dog who was scheduled to leave this planet in two days, Jen grabbed her purse and drove immediately to the shelter.

Arriving at her crate, Jen read her information card, and it was instantly obvious as to why she wasn't being adopted. It read like a bad report card you didn't want anyone to see. She was dropped off at the shelter in their night drop which is a solid metal box, cold and pitched black inside with a note that said...She wasn't potty trained. She barked all the time. She was a runner. She chewed everything. She didn't listen and was not trained. Finally, the card said the family didn't have time for her. Jen brought her home to the ranch the very next day. Daisy Mae also has severe separation anxiety which has been our biggest challenge. She is the sweetest, most loving and trusting dog who greets everyone, people, and animals with a wagging tail and lots of kisses.

Though she still battles anxiety at times, she lives in the moment and is always so joyful. She spends her days running around the property and enjoys greeting our new residents to let them know that they are going to be okay now. Daisy will spend the rest of her life with us at the ranch.
